I started a short-lived anonymous tape label called Burd Turd Tapes which released cassettes without any actual packaging or album art (except the name), in editions of one, which were then placed in the Strange Tractor box in downtown Iowa City (a free anonymous art / clothes / book / music / etc. drop off site). Since the label has been dead for over a year, I am now coming out to reveal my involvement in the project. Besides coordinating the releases, BURDTURD 001 to 013 were all recordings either by myself solo or in groups with friends. 014 to 016 were created by Rob Beckham, and 017 was made by Brock Muench.
