I helped organize a community exhibit of bird art at Blick Art Materials in Iowa City. Portions of art sales were donated to the R.A.R.E. Group, a local non-profit dedicated to raptor rehab and community education. We raised almost a thousand bucks! On the final day of the sale, R.A.R.E. brought in an owl and a kestrel for a live drawing session. For our submission, Tyler and I each printed a bunch of shirts full of bird patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
