Here’s a pie I made last week, or maybe earlier this week. Brock said it was the best pie he’s ever tasted. It has pear halves and yogurt inside, under a crumb topping with freshly grated nutmeg. Mmm.

Vegetable soup, corn fritters, and mini apple tarts. What a meal. The apples were scavenged by our neighbor, Avery.
I’m working on a linocut in printmaking right now, and our critique is Wednesday, so I should have pictures sometime after that.
Also, the most psychadelic puppetshow humankind has ever held witness to will soon be performed, and videotaped for posterity. Look out.

At 12 o’clock, that is some teryaki-basted grilled tofu topped with furikake. At 11 o’clock, we have some grilled catfish marinated in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a splash of pineapple juice, salt, pepper, and some dill and cilantro from our garden. In the center, mashed sweet potatoes, and some bread with sheepsmilk cheese on top. Yesterday’s grilled dinner.

Last night, we made this delicious meal on the grill: pork chops soaked in teryaki, apple cider vinegar, curry, and pepper, mangos, and some flatbread.

There it is, grillin’ up all nice and charred.

Check out that delicous mango. It was so good, really soft and warm and came right out of the skin.
Also, we were in CB the weekend of Easter, and I made my little brother (who is about to turn 3) a little stuffed animal for his birthday, and he really loved it, and he thought it was a dinosaur. He told me he liked me at least once a minute, and if not me, he told me he liked his dinosaur.

I also made that sweater, but I may post about that in more detail in the days to come.
And, last but not least, a picture of Kitty with a string on her head!

Bat Attack

Orange-almond shortbread cookies cut out with a ten-cent cookie cutter. We made cream cheese frosting to go with them. They look kind of like a swarm of bats:
Also, a hoody for spring. Grey is too greyish for the approaching spring. Rainbow arm bands, yeah?

And a print made by Jay.

We made a delicious pizza, and we used the Neat Pizza recipe for the dough.
For the sauce, we used a can of tomato puree stuff mixed with some vodka pasta sauce and some other various herbs and stuff. For toppings, we put on pepperoni, olives and carrots, and for cheese we used a mix of grated and sliced mozzerella. It was so tasty! I wish I had some right now.

Two yukon gold potatoes, a starfruit, two navel oranges, two clementines, some sugar snap peas, two croissants, dried basil, fresh mozzarella, two cans of soda, one eggplant, a jar of spaghetti sauce, two bags of cheddar beer chips, and some Hawes Wensleydale cheese.
